Win! Rubik's 2x2 Cube

Following on from the Rubik’s Pet Puzzles for little ones and the more traditional Rubik’s 3x3 cube, I now bring you the brilliant Rubik’s 2x2 cube. It has got fewer rows and columns, well, 1 less all around as compared to the 3x3. It has a sleek and smooth design. The new mechanics make it easy and fast to manoeuvre. Gone are the old sticky labels. Instead, you have sonic plastic coloured tiles, meaning there is no scope for cheating!

The 2x2 cube is compact. It fits easily in my handbag and in J’s backpack. We have been taking it everywhere we go and it has been an excellent boredom buster for my nearly 7 year old. J loves cubing on the go when he is in the car or when he is waiting for his swimming lessons or in restaurants that take forever to serve food.

You will be forgiven for thinking it is smaller, so easy to crack. Think again. I have been trying to crack the 2x2 ever since we unboxed it last week and I am still grappling with it. J thinks it is incredibly amusing that his Aai (mother) has been beaten by a Rubik’s cube. I am not about to give up, though. I could cheat and look for solutions online. But I insist on doing it my way, twisting and turning till I can get every little square in the right place on each of the six sides.

You can now win a Rubik’s 2x2 Cube by entering my blog giveaway. Just fill in the Rafflecopter form below to be in with a chance. Good luck and happy cubing.

Disclosure: I was sent Rubik’s 2x2 Cube by John Adams, the UK distributor of Rubik’s, as part of their blogger campaign. All opinions are my own.
