New! Ben 10 Toys

A new range of Ben 10 toys has been launched by Flair and you are invited to the party! It is a Twitter party on Thursday 31st August from 1pm to 3pm. I am playing host along with a few other parent bloggers. Remember to save the date and join in on your mobiles, laptops or smart devices using  #Ben10Toys to be in with a chance of winning some Ben 10 goodies.

The party prep is on and we have been sent a box full of Ben 10 goodies to help with the fun. Our party box contains all the things we will need to take part in this Ben 10 twitter party. There are treasure hunt cards, quiz sheets, colouring sheets, activity sheets and pencils plus an alien spin game. There are goodies for the goody bags. And most important, there are a selection of Ben 10 toys for us to try out.

We have been sent a collection of basic figures, a basic omnitrix, a deluxe omnitrix and a Heatblast role play set. There are lots of other toys in the range like giant figures, power-up figures and a transforming playset. They are all available to buy in most good toy stores now. You can also get them right now on Amazon by shopping via the picture link below:

We have had fun testing out the Heatblast Transform-n-Battle play set. It includes a mask that sits on your nose like a pair of glasses. And it has an arm gauntlet that serves as the weapon. Once out of the packaging, we had to enable the mechanism by removing two pieces of plastic embedded in the slider. This done, the slider was pushed right to the top till it clicked into place.

Next, J slid his arm into the gauntlet and I fastened it with the Velcro strap. All he had to do was curl his fingers around the grip and flick his arm to release the projectile. In this case, a blast of fire.

We have had a blast playing goodies and baddies with this new Ben 10 acquisition. I say we, it is more M and J who indulge in this game. I abhor violence, even when it is pretend, so will leave them to it and go about preparing for my Twitter party instead. See you there x
