A Stationery Lover's Gift Guide to Christmas

If you love gorgeous stationery or know someone who does, you have come to the right place. Here are a few of my favourite writing supplies that are sure to make perfect presents for stationery addicts this Christmas. Or just indulge yourself and add them to your wishlist instead.
For no amount of keyboard tapping can replicate the feel of ink on a crisp sheet of paper.

A Stationery Lover's Gift Guide to Christmas

Sheaffer VFM Pens

Sheaffer VFM Pens

Smart-looking and well-presented, this range of VFM pens by Sheaffer are fantastic value for money. They come individually packed and the beautiful presentation belies their reasonable cost. They are lighter than they look, but you can still feel the weight of the pen in your hand as you write. The tip is fine enough for everyday writing. The flow of ink is smooth and I love how the pen glides effortlessly as I write. No smudging, no screeching, just beautiful writing.
Featured here are the coral and matte black. But these are available in a range of different colours to suit your style and personality.

Derwent Coloursoft 12

Derwent Coloursoft 12

You don’t have to be an artist to invest in a set of good quality colour pencils. You will need a decent set of colour pencils even if you simply enjoy adult colouring books. The Coloursoft 12 by Derwent are my choice for when I am doing a spot of therapeutic colouring. The pencils are boxed in a neat, flat metal carrier case that is compact enough to fit in my handbag. The pencils are cylindrical with a soft core. They are lightweight and smooth. The colours I get are bold and vibrant. They work well when I have used them for precision and block colouring.

Derwent Graphik Pens

These are available either as Line Painters or Line Makers. They come in a range of different colours and nib sizes. They work well to make fluid, precise paint lines and do not smudge unless in contact with water.

Stigu To-Do pad

Stigu To-Do pad

An absolute must if you like making to-do lists. Each page has a template for you to note down everything that needs doing. A little box at the end of every line is where you tick off completed tasks. And if that wasn’t therapeutic enough, there is a little reminder at the bottom of each page to ‘Just Breathe’.

Keep Calm And...

Keep Calm and ...

Always one to raise a smile, the Keep Calm series of notebooks and notepads is a must-have for every stationery enthusiast. Featured here is my little ‘...And Note it Down’ notepad. This one by Hallmark is hard to come by, but there are others in the range that are just as pretty.

Smiggle Gel Pen Pack

Smiggle Gel Pen Pack

A pack of 30 scented gel ink pens in a delightful mix of pastel, neon and glitter, this bargain buy from Smiggle is sure to raise a smile on the greyest of winter mornings.  I love the choice of colours on offer in the pack. I love that I can go crazy trying to colour-coordinate my ‘to-do’ lists. They are fantastic for everything from school projects to squiggling.

Maped Color’Peps Duo Tip

Maped Color’Peps Duo Tip

These are fun, washable, double ended felt tip pens that are available as a set of 10. The double tip gives the option to vary line sizes with just one pen. The zigzag zebra pattern on the body of the pen and the wide-ended caps add to their appeal.
