Out Of Africa by Yankee Candle

I love candles. There is something entirely soothing about the soft halo of light that surrounds a flickering wick as it floats in a sea of molten wax.

Yankee Candle have always been a huge favourite of mine. I love the variety they offer, both in terms of innovative fragrances and jar sizes. I always seem to find something to suit my mood and time of day.

Yankee Candle have recently launched the Out Of Africa candle collection. It is available to buy right away as a Votive Happiness Box, with jars being released later in July. The box contains one votive each of the four Out Of Africa fragrances.

The Out Of Africa collection promises an exotic blend of luxury and adventure. True to form, Yankee Candle continue to excite with fascinating names to match the eclectic mix of fragrances that go in the making of their products.

So you have:

Serengeti Sunset:
A seductive blend of fruit, citrus, lotus flower, amber and brisk airy and watery notes to celebrate the haunting beauty of an African sunset.

Egyptian Musk:
A captivating musk with hints of vanilla bean, cedarwood and desert breeze to soothe the senses.

Madagascan Orchid:
An intense perfume of rare African orchids to entice and allure.

Kilimanjaro Stars:
Crisp, clear mountain air laced with cool mint, earthy patchouli and cool watery tones. Reminiscent of nightfall on ice-capped peaks.

I can’t wait to get started on these new votives. With 15 hours of fragrance each, I am looking forward to many hours recreating the African Savannahs in the comfort of my living room.
